Welcome to our woodshop, where sawdust flies, creativity sparks (sometimes literally), and my amazing wife somehow tolerates my insatiable appetite for new tools! I’m the designated builder and CNC wizard, the guy who turns raw lumber into… well, slightly more refined lumber, often with a few dramatic sighs and the occasional expletive (don’t tell my wife). My job is all about precision, problem-solving, and convincing myself that “just one more clamp” is absolutely essential.
Then there’s my infinitely more patient and organized better half. She’s the artistic genius who swoops in after my glorious creations are complete, transforming them with her magical touch. She’s the master of sanding, painting, and finishing, turning my somewhat rustic builds into polished masterpieces. But her superpowers don’t stop there! She’s also the fearless leader of shop organization (a task akin to herding cats in a glitter factory, I imagine) and the brilliant mind behind all our wood purchasing. Without her, we’d probably be building things out of old pizza boxes, and the shop would resemble a tornado’s aftermath.
Together, we’re a perfectly balanced, slightly chaotic team. I build, she beautifies, I spend, she organizes, and somehow, through all the sawdust and occasional marital banter, we manage to create unique and unforgettable gifts that will last a lifetime.
Willow
Quality Control
Meet Willow, our American Staffordshire Terrier and the relaxed heart of our woodshop. She loves to chill on her bed, overseeing projects, completely unfazed by the noise. Willow has a special job as our wood chip quality control expert – she loves to eat them! She’s also our vigilant watchdog, always alerting us to new arrivals. Despite her protective nature, Willow is incredibly gentle and brings a calm, loving presence to our shop.
Gunner
Mascot
Meet Gunner, our spirited Staffordshire Bull Terrier. This energetic pup is always ready to “supervise” projects and chase stray wood shavings, bringing boundless enthusiasm to every day. Beyond the shop, Gunner’s a star in obedience and agility competitions, showcasing his impressive focus and athleticism. The only thing that gives our brave boy pause is the loud “thwack” of the nail gun, sending him scurrying for cover in a comical dash. Gunner truly embodies the dedicated and lively spirit of our woodshop, making every moment here feel like home.
